A rustic regional wedding involving their horses, highlighting their unique style. Jaymie & Lachy just wanted everyone to have fun but both being shift workers needed help with responding to emails, finding vendors on a tight budget and keeping the overwhelm at bay.
THE PROBLEM
Sadly Jaymie & Lachy had a few issues, including 2 vendors who tried to take advantage of them both of whom didnt have proper service agreements or contracts in place and an initial celebrant who didn’t communicate despite Jaymie requesting multiple meets and emails and who eventually came down to 3 months prior to their date still had not submitted their paperwork or updated them on the process.
THE SOLUTION
Having us on board meant with short notice we could find a replacement celebrant who made them feel comfortable and ensured the communication they deserved. We were also able to provide the appropriate links for the first one to be reported ensuring they did not take advantage of any other couples.
As for the other vendors knowing the legalities surrounding what they can and can’t ask for and enforce without a proper contract or service agreement in place meant I was able to negotiate and stand up for them on their behalf ensuring they were not taken advantage of and swindled out of additional funds they were not required to pay.
All of this alongside being there to help Lachy’s sister to catered the desserts ensured the family had a wonderful day.
