Working in hospo for over 11 years Amie actually dropped out of Uni because she loved it so much! After running venues, managing staff, an Events Degree, Business Admin degree and years of working weddings Amie ventured out to begin her own business!
What’s your favourite part of the wedding day?
They’re all different depending on the timeline and the formalities but I loooooove hearing the vows, especially when you get to know a couple and you hear their vows and think “this sums them up perfectly”. So as busy as we are I always try to sneak a moment to listen to a few lines!
What do you like most about helping couples/clients with their events?
The different visions, I love creating new styling concepts and continuously seeing clients blown away when we can do it within their budget (after we set realistic expectations of course).
Drink of choice?
Well I love champagne so much I added champagne towers to my service so it has to be bubbles! My faves are Tattinger or Bollinger.
If you could have any crazy thing at your event if money was no problem what would it be?
Not that my wedding is even remotely close, but I would love to do something wild that only someone like Taylor Swift would be allowed to do – like have the ceremony on the MCG green… (before couples come at me, you’re not allowed I’ve checked! LOL)
Amber was brought in initially in March of 2025 to help with a massive private property wedding. We were impressed with her attention to detail, punctuality, communication and ability to get the job done on top of her massive 10 years of experience and knew she’d be a perfect addition to the team!
How long have you worked in hospo?
Though I may be young I’ve worked all over the hospitality and events industry for nearly a decade at nearly every possible venue and major event in Melbourne.
What’s your favourite part of the wedding day?
Cliche but all of it! The entire day is special and every moment is beautiful to be apart of.
What do you like most about helping couples/clients with their events?
I love helping people bring their vision to life and creating their dream moments. It’s rewarding to take the stress off their shoulders and see their joy when everything comes together.
Drink of choice?
Amaretto sour or a cheeky sambuca shot.
If you could have any crazy thing at your event if money was no problem what would it be?
Fireworks! With a kiss overlooking Lake Como of course.
When we first interviewed Alyssa we loved her bright and bubbly personality and her passion for styling not just professionally but in her personal life.
How long have you worked in hospo?
About 3 years, but I also work in retail which is same but different right?
What’s your favourite part of the wedding day?
I absolutely love the first dance, this moment is just so beautiful!
What do you like most about helping couples/clients with their events?
I love that every wedding is completely unique and tailored to each couple. It’s amazing to see how every special day reflects the personalities and stories of the people behind it, making each event different and one of a kind.
Drink of choice?
I love a Pimms!
If you could have any crazy thing at your event if money was no problem what would it be?
If money was not a problem, I’d plan the most over-the-top, romantic wedding in Lake Como, with a stunning ceremony overlooking the water. The entire day would feel like a fairytale, and we’d end the night with an incredible fireworks show lighting up the lake.
(we’re sensing a trend…)
How long have you worked in hospo?
I’ve been involved in hospitality and events in different capacities over the past 5 years. Being part of both behind the scenes logistics and client facing moments has given me a real appreciation for the work that goes into creating memorable experiences.
What’s your favourite part of the wedding day?
The moment just before the ceremony starts, the energy shifts, the nerves and excitement build, and everything becomes real. It’s such a beautiful, emotionally charged moment.
What do you like most about helping couples/clients with their events?
I love turning ideas into reality and watching the stress melt away as clients realise everything is taken care of. Being trusted with such meaningful occasions is incredibly rewarding.
Drink of choice?
A mojito….fresh, zesty, and perfect for any celebration. And I’ll add raspberry now and again for a little twist!
If you could have any crazy thing at your event if money was no problem what would it be?
I’d host a magical event in Palma de Mallorca—my favourite place on earth—where guests arrive by boat, enjoy an intimate dinner under the stars, and dance the night away on a floating stage, all capped off with a stunning fireworks display. It would be the perfect mix of elegance, fun, and unforgettable memories.
