THE BRIEF
Using Tailah’s favourite colour pink to create a photo backdrop and order a cake to match.
Cake to reflect classic sponge with jam filling as this was her favourite, chocolate drip with florals.
Wanted the balloon backdrop but without it looking “childish” with the pinks.
Overall budget $2000
THE PROBLEM
Typical sponge cake wouldn’t hold so opted for white chocolate mud cake with jam coulis.
Didn’t know where to begin or which vendors to trust to bring her vision to life.
THE SOLUTION
Created a custom mockup for Tailah to help her visualise.
Added florals into the backdrop to tie in the cake and elevate the styling to remove the “childish” element.
