Staying up-to-date with the latest trends is essential for creating memorable events. Here are our favourite the top 10 event trends for 2024.

1. Sustainable Weddings: Eco-friendly options like biodegradable confetti, locally sourced or fake flowers, and sustainable catering are becoming increasingly popular.

2. Bold Colours: Vibrant and bold colour palettes are making a comeback. Think deep reds, emerald greens, and royal blues. On the flip side whilst white on white is a classic and will forever be popular we are also seeing a rise in multi coloured pastel mixes – which is super fund!

3. Interactive Food Stations: Customisable food stations, such as sushi bars, grazing tables and dessert bars are back on trend and offer a fun and interactive dining experience allowing guests to mingle.

4. Mixed Bridal Bouquets: You may have seen this trend – each bridesmaid has a bouquet of a single type of flower, whilst the bride’s is then made up of a combination of all the different types her party are carrying. This is especially popular with a garden theme and coloured bouquets where the difference is obvious.

5. Unique Venues: Non-traditional venues, such as industrial spaces, rooftop gardens, and art galleries, are in high demand. And due to cost of living we’ve also seen a rise in private property weddings and birthdays.

6. Content Creators: 2024 has for sure been the rise of the event content creator, we are living in the age of social media and realising its a different more raw style of footage to be captured the amount of event content creators are on the rise and rightly so as they are in high demand!

7. Daring Bridal Attire: We’ve seen the skirt, the veil will never die but 2024 is the rise of the cape & the mini reception dress. We love an outfit change though so we can’t complain!

8. Minimalist Décor: Simple and elegant décor with clean lines and a focus on quality over quantity.

9. Bows, Bows, Bows: Bows are back! No matter the event it’s a simple easy way to add a styling element to lift the elegance. on chairs, stems of glasses, in hair, on dresses, just BOWS EVERYWHERE!

10. Alternatives: Be it replacing a cake with an ice-cream cart, replacing a guestbook with an audio or video version, or supplying dietary options for guests – the 2024 event is full of alternatives for the modern host.
